VSF Supports 3,000 Victims of Banditry and Terrorism in Kaduna

Through strategic collaboration under the Victim Support Fund (VSF) initiative, vulnerable households affected by insecurity in Kaduna State benefited from food support and resilience-focused humanitarian assistance.

The intervention reached victims of banditry and terrorism across three Local Government Areas, strengthening food security and helping vulnerable families recover dignity during difficult times.

Humanitarian support reached over 3,000 conflict-affected individuals in Kaduna State.

Micronutrients: A Lifeline Against Anaemia in Pregnant Women and Children

Carelink joined stakeholders and nutrition advocates in amplifying the importance of micronutrients in preventing anaemia among pregnant women and children.

Through nutrition-focused engagement aligned with FHI360 Alive & Thrive interventions, Carelink contributed to awareness on maternal nutrition, child wellbeing, and improved nutrition practices.

Our Advocacy Win:

We Strengthened public awareness on maternal and child nutrition and the importance of micronutrient access. The Ward Development Committees (WDC) embraced this awarenss and promoted awarens creation at places of worship in the community. This increased demand for MMS and promoted ante-natal clinic attendance among pregnant women. We also secured inclusion of essential in the 2024 Annual Operational Plan of the State Primary Healthcare Board for the LGAs.

VSF Distributes Food Items to Victims of Banditry and Terrorism in Kaduna

Carelink Resource Foundation supported humanitarian response efforts through the distribution of food and non-food items to Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) and vulnerable households affected by insecurity in Kaduna State.

The intervention, supported through the Victim Support Fund (VSF), targeted vulnerable households experiencing food insecurity, displacement, and livelihood disruption due to violence and insecurity.

The intervention strengthened resilience and restored hope among affected individuals, particularly women, children, and vulnerable families.
