Carelink Resource Foundation is a Nigerian nonprofit organization committed to helping vulnerable women, children, adolescents, and underserved individuals access the opportunities, protection, healthcare, education, and support they need to live healthier, safer, and more dignified lives.
OUR VISION
A society where every woman, child, adolescent, and vulnerable individual has equitable and sustainable opportunities for survival, protection, dignity, and development.
OUR MISSION
To empower vulnerable women, children, adolescents, and underserved populations through integrated interventions in health, nutrition, education, livelihood support, mental wellbeing, and social protection — creating pathways for resilience, inclusion, and lasting transformation.
OUR STORY
Carelink Resource Foundation was founded on a simple but powerful belief:
One act of care can change a life forever.
Behind Carelink’s journey is a legacy of compassion, sacrifice, and commitment to humanity led by its founders, Mr. John Ogbu and Mrs. Ann Ogbu.
Long before the organization was formally established in 2013, the founders dedicated their lives to supporting vulnerable individuals across underserved communities in Nigeria.
Driven by the desire to help children access education, Mr. John Ogbu championed grassroots educational initiatives that gave hope to marginalized children who could not afford schooling. He also supported local farmers and vulnerable families through economic empowerment initiatives that improved livelihoods and household resilience.
At the same time, Mrs. Ann Ogbu devoted herself to empowering vulnerable women and adolescent girls through vocational training, mentorship, psychosocial support, and economic opportunities. During the HIV/AIDS crisis, she became a source of hope for affected women and families by supporting treatment access, counseling, and stigma reduction.
These lifelong efforts inspired the birth of Carelink Resource Foundation — an organization built on the conviction that when compassion is connected with resources, lives can be transformed.
Today, Carelink continues to work at the intersection of health, nutrition, education, protection, gender equality, social justice, and sustainable livelihoods — ensuring that vulnerable individuals are not left behind.
From rural settlements to underserved urban communities, our mission remains clear:
Restoring hope. Protecting dignity. Empowering lives.
